Following the contagious patriotism of Canada’s 1967 Centenary of Confederation, Aurora was ground-breaking in establishing a municipal tradition of celebrating July 1.

Aurora: Canada’s Birthday Town is a short documentary that examines the origins and history of how this designation came to be. Narrated by James Duthie.
